I think I am having a issue with my pack. For the life of me I could not remember what the voltage should be for a fully charged 4-Cell Nicad pack. I thought it was around 5.5 volts. If someone could tell me what the fully charged pack should be I would apprectiate that.

Thanks again
Mark

Hi.
it depends on how much current you are charging with. more current higer volt. and it depends on the cell. bigger cells holds the voltage better than small cells.
If the battery is empty it should start at around 1.4volt and end from 1.55 to 1.7 volt.

Battery Issues
Why not just charge it, and then discharge it on a cycler-that would eliminate any speculation on the pack. If you don't have one, perhaps someone near you, or in a club near you, would cycle it for you? Reading battery voltage isn't really a good way to 'check' a pack to see if it's good.
