I just fitted a Raptor 30 landing gear to my Caliber 30, It is 100 times better than the narrrow stock gear!, I had to drill out and enlarge the mounting holes a little bit, but the work involved was worth it!., Now it seems more stable, when it it sitting on the ground, and during landing.

Yeah I think I'm headed that way also. I think the extra width will come in handy during autos when you need to nail a landing.

QUICK! ,,,can someone turn the gravity off for just a second,,,,

I'm far from doing autos...just learning to hover and I've already seen the benefit of wider gear. I used the Quick heavy duty landing gear. A lot wider and just a tad taller. The heli looks a little nicer sitting on the ground...in my opinion.

The heli now feels much safer, siting on the ground!, the stock gear just made me nervous!, it is too tall and too narrow, I had the same problem with my Z230 gasser, I put a Vario gear on that heli, and it made it alot better!, I have never had a problem with the gear on my Raptor 30, Why not spend the $20, and save alot, risking a tip over!..........

I here ya....
I just got the Mavrikk Super Gear for mine. I haven't flown with it yet because of the weather being crap. But it seems alot more stable just sitting on the work bench. Can't wait to fly it. Looks more agressive too.

I just installed a set of Quick heavy duty on my 30. It sits really stable even on rough ground

Chad, you boys going to be out at Lannie this weekend? I'll be up there Sunday. They are having a combat meet on Saturday so the field will be closed to general flying.
