While my T-Rex weighs only about 10% more than my Shogun, it consumes approximately 25% more power.

175-185 milli-amps per minute for the T-Rex
120-130 milli-amps per minute for the Shogun

Has anyone dialed in their Rex well enough to use only 120 to 135 milii-amps per minute during FFF along with loops and rolls?

Belt driven instead of shaft. Thats probably were the missing power is. Ill trade power for reliability any day. I actuallly weed whack with my heli. I was flying in some high grass the other day. I would swoop in in and clear a spot. It was so much fun. Of course the grass stains all over the blades and heli wasnt fun to clear off.

I agree, I prefer a belt drive even with the slight increase in power consumption.

I have 1 T-Rex and 2 Showguns, (one has Hubdave belt drive).

125-135 milli-amps per minute with belt drive Shogun
115-125 milli-amps per minute with shaft drive Shogun
175-185 milli-amps per minute T-Rex

(Showguns have Hackers B20-15 & 18, T-Rex using 400DH, all with TP 3s 2100's).

Is anyone getting better numbers on their Rexy?
