I can 100% say that if I ever get another cat, its name will be Gyro without a doubt. It has already been discussed with the woman of the house. Although I don't think that will happen ANY time soon. Easter weekend we had to put one of our cats down. She was 17 years old, and her body had simply had it. Her kiddneys were shutting down, so it was either put her to sleep, or watch her suffer. It was not a good weekend to say the least. But I do like cats, and yours is pretty cool looking. So Gyro gets my vote.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

TurboRacer, what did the breeder name him? I'd keep the same name. Not good renaming them... bad luck, kind of like renaming a boat.

Your cat looks a little older than 12 weeks. However, given the few pictures, it's pretty hard to determin an accurate age.

Good luck with your cat. This breed will keep you busy!

my kids have a cat, "Oscar" a yellow and orange tiger, 8 years old now, he show's all his love to my kids but yet he sleeps with me and the wife, in the winter he is a real pain in the ass, he goes outside then 5, 10 minutes later he come back in because his feet are cold, 5 minutes later he is warm again and he wants to go back out, so he goes out again and 5,10 minutes later he wants to come back in, I don't give in to that but the kids do,,,

he's kind of smart, if he is outside and wants to come in he will jump from the upper deck onto the door's roof making noise on the roof and we hear the noise inside so we know to let him in, and if my wife hits the snooze alarm and goes back asleep he will get up on her and wake her up.

I hate to bring bad news but the black one is Gyro. I had to have A pet named after A heli part. The white one is Little Bit. She is looking for A new home. She just came in out of the rain.

My vote for a name would be "Dinnar" (spelled wrong purposely).

I hate cats though...kitten meat is just so tender - and goes well with a good merlot.

But my two huskies would LOVE that cat! And no, not in a dog-kill-cat way - they'd just play and play and play with it. Not sure if the cat would have as much fun though.

Either way, pets are just as good for the owner as the owner is good for the pet. Enjoy him!

For those that don't know, Bangles actually act a lot like dogs. They thrive on human attention, they're not the loner type you think of a normal cat as being. And they're playful, aggressive, and very strong for the size (which is usually larger that normal house cats).

I'd get one in a second as my girl is allergic to dogs and I have always liked those kitties. Too bad my current residence doesn't allow it.

Rappytappy, is that a Papillon? One of my flying buddies just got a Papillon a few months ago, and it's also named Gizmo. Actually, I look very close to yours.

Is this the same kind of cat that has opposable thumbs?

The only comparison I have is that my neighbor spent an un-godly amount of money on his cat (named "Gyro"...go figure). And the damn things has THUMBS! And can USE 'EM! That cat will pick up a pencil in one paw and hold it for you.

If it would bring me a beer and open it for me...I may just trade in my huskies.
