Carbon blades would be a nice improvement, the new lightweight TT paddles white or green are also a very nice upgrade (faster rolls and flips). carbon fins are nice looking, but they really don't do much

i havnt flown my heli with the carbon fins(my 50SE) but i hear u get a faster piro rate and i believ it cuz alan changed his 30 to the carbon fins for the same reason, but if i get the faster paddles i will have a good flip rate but i think its fine witht tha blacks so ima stay there(onec u go black u never go back)

My 30 has/had a TT 39, hatori muffler, TT blades, and a 9250 on the tail..oh and a 401..

This setup gave me absolutely amazing performance. Once the engine was warm, i could not bog the engine even if i gave it full collective. It held the HS through flips, loops, rolls. Only if i went real nuts would the engine start to slow...

Wonderful helicopter...

I dont think you really need the CF fins..the solid fins really help to weather vain (sp) the heli in autos..

good point, considering i cant get the auto gear for my 30 sens the frame was made a lil off so the gears dont mesh well enough to get a smooth tail( it ticks when spinning) but dont worry it still flys fine like that, i wanna stick with the 36 tho less power=better cloctive managment training, i wanna get a 401 but thats the last thing i need to get my 50 in the air so its gonna go on that

thanks for replys keep em comin if u found somethin that really healped with the heli

Get some good main/tail blades and paddles. You do not need a gov on a 30, just mix some cyclic and throttle around 10-15%.

With the 95mm tail blades, you'll want to get the carbon vertical fin. It's significantly taller than the stock tupper ware fin.
I got this set:FROM HELIPROZ
You'll also want red dampers to prevent the blades from flexing into the tail during hard 3D. I hear the Carbon Xtreme dampers are great, but haven't tried them. The reds work great for me with the 95mm tails. (mine is a 50, though)

Toss the Green paddles on there too if you're looking for fast cyclic.

Do not put 95mms on your 30. Those are for 50s and you should stick with only 80-85mm tail blades. I missed that on his first post.

From what I've read, 95mm tail blades can strike the mains on a 50.

I've heard the same thing. I've also heard that they don't. I've burned many gallons of hard flying on my 50 with 95mm tails and TT600 carbons without so much as a "nick" on the tail blades.
They actually came stock on my Velociraptor from Heliproz. Until I have an issue, there good to go. Very high authority tail with the 95's.

Probably with red dampeners and 3D flying from "normal" people they would be safe. The guys who can really 3D the snot ouf of them can probably manage to put enough stress on the mains to bend them down and cause a strike.

yeah for crashes were the boom wasnt going in 3 angles, he made this device that would be forced down the inside of the boom and after the boom would look like new, but it only worked if the boom ony had like a big dent from a blade, or somethin
