I lost my 9 tooth during a loop, and I have a couple extra 10 tooth pinions. Would it be ok for me to run a 10 tooth? I am using a Thunder Pack 3s 2100. Will I over heat the motor and or the battery?

Yep, I run a 9 and that is max.
If you search I think most uses 8T.

If the motor and ESC survive, your next worry would be the head coming apart. You'd be running an ungodly head RPM.

8 tooth should do it.

I am running a 9 tooth on my 400DH, using about 170 milli-amps per minute.

Any idea if flight times and battery temps would improve with an 8 tooth?
