I am looking at the 400 X in the UK, from http://www.liteheli.com, has anyone in the UK got this heli yet.
It is very similar to the T-Rex, but the people I have spoken to say it is far better.
No slop on the head (well less than the T-Rex)
Swashplate is better than T-Rex
The frames are a two piece stacked arrangement.

If someone has one of hese in the UK could you ley me know what you think of it and the motor/esc/Li-po setup you use.

many Thanks

I did notice that they're not quoting a price on their website.

Spoke to liteheli and I was quoted £129, same as the T-rex.

I've got my x400 Heli Yesterday. I've built up most of the heli, though Still have to install the electrics in.
Price wise, the heli is cheaper than the Trex from Heliaddicts in the UK, though the price they have quoted on their site says that its Introductory price (£98). The spares also seem cheaper in most parts than the Trex (Another good thing! )

Very impressed with the presentation of the kit. I also got a zoom, and have a Trex and feel it is better presented in the instruction manual, and the way the parts are packaged ... very good

The parts have gone together very well. As with all the small electric helis, care has to be taken in fitting together, as the parts can tend to bounce/roll off table tops...onto the floor, and never to be seen again

I liked the idea of stacked frames, as this should make the frames more rigid. Once put together, It is far more rigid than theTrex frames, and probably stronger. The mouldings of the parts seem neater than the Trex, and the head damping feels a LOT better than the Trex and my Zoom.

Dimension wise, it does actually look the same as my Trex. The boom looks the same length and diameter. I've also had a quick comparison with the Trex main shaft, and it looks the same(Though not 100% sure on this).

The blades supplied are the same size as the zoom blades, but it looks the standard trex315 can be used(With additional spacers). The blade grips on the x400 are are slightly longer than the trex, so fittling any blades will hold the blades out further giving a few mm larger rotor dia. The root of the blade grips are quite a bit wider than the trex and zoom. Will probably use the pastic spacers from the original blades to enable me to try out the zoom carbon blades on this.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed. The parts are all pretty much slop free. The Collective tray is ULTRA smooth with no slop, Tail and Head control seems precise with no apparent slop. Will get the electrics in, and see how it goes from there.

Got my X 400 today from Heliaddicts i am very impressed with the overall quality of the kit i had a Zoom 400 which although good i did not like the standard tail drive which i found very rough running i have tried a T Rex and although i like the Raptor style design i found the swashplate to be rubbish, the controls had loads of slop and also were not smooth and the amount of play in the head was a joke,i found also that it did not fly as well(in my opinion)as the standard Zoom.I am well into X400 build and found no issues so far.The collective is ultra smooth, the controls totally slop free, the stacked sideframes are very impressive,i think this heli embodies all of the above machines good points in 1 package.I look forward to flying it and will try to get some video...

yes i got mine from heliaddicts in the UK also. great service from them. the ark is awesome, metal stacked frames with sweet aluminium cross members make the frames very very stiff. I love it.

just an update,i have now fully built and fitted out my X 400 with servos i am awaiting a motor and esc to complete.I have found nothing at all in the build that causes concern or that i am unhappy with,i mainly fly Raptors etc and have always been concerned about the build quality of the smaller electrics in order to save weight. This is the first micro heli that i am totally happy with. The sideframes offer incredible rigidity and strength and at no weight penalty.I liked the tail servo mounting in the rear of the frames and the head is entirely slop free and you get a good pitch range. All in all this is an incredible piece of kit for the money and once again i have to thank Andrew at Heliaddicts for letting us guys get hold of the LATEST versions of models at an unbeatable price.I am busy with my Raptors at the moment so will wait until Heliaddicts get the motors and ESCs in before finishing the X400..
