G'Day Sorry about another post.

I am learning to hover all over again. I have set up a standard pitch and throttle curve:

Normal Pitch 0 25 60 75 95

Normal Throttle 0 40 85 90 100

I want to be able to hover at half throttle at the moment it rquires full throttle.

I am running a CC25 with Kokam 1500's, Align 400LF 13T pinion.

I know the kokams are not the best, but I am waiting to get some new batteries.

Is it as simple as changing the mid point to 100%?

Thanks,

Although I've no information about kokams battery, I think that problem may not be the battery. Because I just use the "cheap" cell (Jet Power) with similar hardware config. I can still hover at mid stick easily.
Normal Pitch 48 64 77.5 89 100 (low -0 deg, mid-6 deg, high-11 deg)

Normal Throttle 0 30 67 85 100
My hardware config are,
Align 400L 2500KV with13T, 25A Align ESC, 315mm wood blades.

What size of blades you using, is it stock plastic one?
Have you check the pitch by pitch gauge, is it 6 deg at mid stick?
Have you check the tension of belt for tail? It should be quite loose.
Have you check the gap between the Motor Pinions & main drive gear? It should have 0.1~0.2mm approx. (like a thin paper) gap.

It is abnormal for hovering at full throttle!

Your throttle curve sounds o.k. but your normal pitch curve should be something like 45 63 81 85 100.

I would suspect that you have too much pitch at mid-stick, bogging down the motor, do as Calin-L says and check with a pitch gauge, or try other settings 5% more or less can do alot, try 60% for midstick and go from there.
