If you look at my gallery you will see that I cut my shroud to short for my X-spec OS91 I have no other way of securing it to the frame has anyone else done this or do you have any ideas or should I just get a new fan shroud

Ok I think I can fix it I have the peaces I need what is the best way to bond plastic I have some epoxy and Zap glue or should I use something else?

i owuldny risk gluing it, you dont want it to come apart in flight with engine vibration !!

get a new shorud and cut it like this:

Take a peice of sheet metal. Cut two little strips bout half inch wide and bout 3 or 4 inches long. Drill two hole in the bottome end to match the holes on the side of the fan shroud. Then you have to drill a one or two (preferably two for more support) into the other end and the carbon frames. Then you screw them down with socket head and locknut and you have shroud supports. I hope I explained that good enough.
