So you must B using a big king size motor in your T-rex at 28Amp's
the polyQuest delivers 21,6 amps continuous 28,8 burst <--15sec, so you are way above the limit for this pack. My motor 400sf uses 18amp max.

Heliramos - read again... The TP2100 delivers 28A. The PQ would heat up severely while only supplying 10A (6C) which is only half of the naximum rated continuous current.

The TP pack delivers 25,2 amps continuous(12C), pulling 28 amps out of it will get the pack to run hot also the amp rating of a pack is a fix value including burst.it is your motor that decides how many amps it pulls out of your pack, and your pack must B able to deal whit that current.
If you say you did get 270w at 9.5v that makes your motor pulling 28 amps and now you have to look at your pack and ask your self can my pack deal with the 28amps.

I think what he's trying to say is that the TP2100 pack will deliver 28A without getting too hot whereas the PQ pack starts to get into the grey area heat wise at around 10A.

I very much doubt his motor will get close to 28A even if the heli is binding like mad and he throws a screw between main and pinion

polyquest pack
I recently purchased this pack due to the price and the 12c discharge rate. I currently have 2 tanic 11.1 2200 mahs, 1 apogee 2170 mah and now the polyquest 12c 1800 pack. This pack is a gutless. I thought with the 12c discharge and weight advantages my Trex would be a rocket but this battery is by far my weakest pack. I had a 10 minute flight times. The battery was extremely warm and my head speed was just not there. I plugged in my Tanic pack and my Trex was back alive again.
