Peter,

I have 12 on my MP electric, cannot stand 14 like Jan. Too much pitch, not good for my hands and heart

I am going to get some 50 size kits as well because I believe that some pilots are still intimidated by the 91 size engines and would like to have a more manageable 50 size engine.

Tell Gerhard for me that it is Webra all the way.

Of course I dream about porky

Planning on hitting Prague in July.

Sent you an email about a week ago. Did you get it?

NICE!!!!

I like the situation with the Rx battery pack strapped onto the front unit rather than stuck out front on a rod and the exhaust out the side rather than infront of the cylinder head where you can't get to the glow plug, much better.

That thing must be S##T hot with a 90 in it, MPII looks abit odd though, only problem i can see is the length of a 90 pipe, would it create a rearward CG??

I like the idea of the 50 size MP, looking forward to it's release.

Cheers!

the CG will not be a problem if you use a magic pipe which creat same power as a MP2 and a little more rpm
or with a tunning pipe, look at the photo the battery is mounted on the header tank, you can put it in front of the header tank like in the 50

Bart
if you use the 91C red head you have only to open the hole in the fan to 7,9mm,same gear ratio same header nothing to change
if webras regulator came out put this one in too, so in inverted the to rich run from all NT´s is past

Hi all!

Are there any videos of that machine?

What motor is in it?

What's the tail ratio?

Yeah! looks much better strapped up like that, had a good look round the pre-release version at the 2004 3DM, the battery was stuck out the front on a carbon rod or something.

To say it has a huge honking 90 shoe horned in the 3DMP mechanics the installation is very neat n tidy!!

Cheers!

The RX battery for the 91MP is currently mounted over the header tank. In case a tuned pipe is used, the battery can be moved even further to the front to offset the extra tail weight.

The battery will have to be at the very front end with a OS50 engine which is lighter.

I see a mention of 3DMP XL in some places. Does this mean Jan will make a stretch kit for the 3DMP with 91 size engine?

Anybody know if i need to change the exhaust bend due to different size of exhaust connection? Or is the webra and the Os the same so i can keep the old exhaust pipe bend?
Exhaust foot print for both the OS and Webra are the same. No change needed except fan as described by 3DPP. Here is Jan flying my 3DNT w/Webra 91 AAR, 8.3 gear ratio, 445mm Hatori 700 and 5% Pro Synth 2000 fuel. I think he was adequately impressed

If he crashes my NT, I will take his own MP

Not a bad deal considering that I still have 2 NTs NIB reserved for my museum of fine heli arts

XL is the bigger one with 150cm rotor
V means methanol motor
E is for the electric motor
XL is coming late this year or next, the V 91 is able to change to V91 XL with some parts
