Come and join us for our annual helicopter fun fly in St. Louis Missouri. Two days of fun in the sun and open, relaxing flying in the Gateway city. Huge flying field with more than enough room for everyone to fly comfortably. Tentative dates for the event is June 4th and 5th so mark your calendars. Pilot prizes will be given out and a raffle open to everyone will be held as well. Food and drinks will be available on site. Additional information will be posted as it is finalized.

Feel free to email me with any questions.

NOTE: Just to eliminate any posible confusion, the June 18th fun fly in St. Louis listed on the event summary is a general, all rc aircraft event whereas this is a strictly heli event.

Yup, Scott still attends and in fact, has been CD'ing the event for a while now. Barring any unforseen work conflicts, he should be there again as well. In the past few years, pilot attendence has been down to about half that due to conficts with other heli events during the same weekend in the midwest region. I do believe though that this year we are conflict free (at least for the time being, that may change as time goes by). Everyone is more than welcome to come out Friday and start setting up. Keep in mind though that this is not a heli only field and it is shared with our fixed wing friends so Friday there may be some airplane fliers out as well. Sat and Sun its all ours though. The rapport between the heli and fixed wing fliers has been a good one at our field so there shouldnt be any problems.

We would love have you guys from Indy (and anywhere else) out again.

Sorry guys.
Been busy lately and havent really had much time to get on here. As stated it is being held at Buder Park. Its located just off of Hwy 44 and Rt 141 in Valley Park Missouri (about 20 mins southwest of downtown St Louis). I will post better directions and a map as soon as I can get a webpage up for the event (time is precious these days) but in a nutshell take Hwy 44 to Route 141 (exit 272) and turn north on 141. Take first right you can take to the North Outer Rd. When you come to the stop sign, turn right and it will take you into Buder park. After you cross the railroad tracks, take the next right and the RC field will be down the road on the left past the CL field. Cant miss it. There are also two brand new hotels, the Drury Inn and the Hampton Inn just off of 141 on the south side of highway 44.

Drury Inn
5 Lambert Drury Dr
Valley Park MO 63088
636-861-8300

Hampton Inn
9 Lambert Drury Dr
Valley Park, MO 63088
(636) 529-9020

There are also a number of Hotels one exit east down Hwy 44 which include:

Pear Tree Inn (636-343-8820)
Drury Inn (636 343-7822) (yes there are two)
Econo lodge (636-343-5710)
Fairfield Inn (636-305-1500)
Holiday Inn Express (636 349-4444)

Like I said, I will have more posted when I get a page up and running, but if you have any questions before that, pm me or email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Hope to see you there.

Those are the two new hotels, opened just last fall. Both were still under construction last year during our event at Buder. Nice and close, situated directly across the Hwy 44/ Rt 141 interchange from the field. They are no more than 2 miles away as the crow flies.
