I have been trying my Align 2800S with my Phoenix 25 (13 tooth pinion), and not had that good of performance with this combo.

I am using Gov High Mode, normal timing, insensitive current limiting. Flying is Ok but the power is not just their. Doesn't look like their video on the Align site. I am using a TP2100 which is a heavier battery.

Would I be better off going out of Gov mode and trying a regular throttle curve???

Thanks,

Michael

Are your sure it is an S?
I have the 400L and it is fine
I can believe that the S would not have the required power

I used Fixed throttle and set a high % throttle curve in the TX

Align 2800S
Jafa,

Yes it is the 2800S ....the one that is recommended. Thought I could get more power out of it. It climbs but not good for 3d.

A bit breezy and cold here in NY today. Will take it out of gov mode and if that doesn't work any better will go to my Mega 15 (400L) motor.

Thanks for the reply.

Michael
