One of the fellows here asked me to post the info I sent to Stack regarding my set up on the stock Voyager E with the Eclipse 7 TX ... I apologize for cutting some interested pilots out of the loop with my PM.
Here's the info:
I'm not sure why the previous owner had the throttle trim at -50%? Is this what he has on the main throttle trim or in subtrim?
My Throttle subtrim is at 0% and basic on-set trim is also at 0%.

For all modes (Normal, ST1 and ST2): -1/+4/+6/+9/+10
I use some expo: -8% on cyclic and +4% on the T/R, but you might want to play around a little and see what feels good to you.
My Swash settings are Lt Channel +70/Front Channel -70/Rt Channel +70.
My Gyro settings (using the 401) are: Normal 72%/ST1 72%/ST2 20%/ST3 (Hold) 20%
All of this work fine as I don't do any aerobatics with the Voyager E. It's my hover in the yard (we have a couple of acres) on a whim machine, and I do emphasize that this is a totally stock heli. I run Cermark GP3300 8cell (9.6V) NiMH packs. (Note: with this set up I do run the performace pinion on the stock motor ... Gives me 5-8 minutes of flight time and dramatically improved performance)
You'll probably see that my Idle Up 2 (ST2) set up allows me the same flight characteristics but with the gyro in rate mode rather than AVCS (Heading Lock) ... Kind of handy sometimes for experimenting
Normally I spool up in Normal then switch to Idle Up 1 (ST1) to keep the head speed up at lower collective but keeping the gyro in AVCS mode.
You might want to kind of disassemble all of the flight control related parts and go through the full setup and alignment in the Voyager E manual, including initializing the ESC. Then you'll be sure you have all the lengths, etc correct. It really doesn't take too long, and will allow you to get everything set as you would like.
