I'm ready to pump up the Caliber. Get rid of the OS32. But I'm a cheapskate. What's the best upgrade for the money?
Toki 40 is $140 w/muffler
OS37 is $145 w/o muffler
TT39 is $105 w/o muffler

Never had problems with the OS32 so I'm leaning that way if my drilled out stock muffler will work.

then buy by price
I have done that in the past
only to have buyers remorse

the OS37 is one of the best starting and running engines I
have ever owned. OS has got a winner with this engine
and HeliProz has the SAB-6RS marked down from $99.99
to $79.99 this was designed for the 37 - a powerful package

.

So far, i hear the 37 is holding together just fine. Prolly buy one when my 32 tanks. I wouldnt consider the TT myself though. Personally tried to tune them and it was a pain

my wifes cooking is so bad, the flies are sewing the holes in the screen door

I fear the tuning problems with the TT39. I have loved the OS32 and it's stability in tune. I also have an OS61FX in a plane that just runs with no problems whatsoever. I'll probably go with the os37. Will my stock Caliber muffler be a hinderance to performance, or should I pry a crowbar in my wallet and get a nice muffler too?

You'll probably want to spring for a muffler with a bit more expansion room. There have been a slew of posts over the past couple of weeks about the 37, the Caliber, and a decent muffler for it.

Would a governor be a wise investment also with this extra power? I'm kinda tired of dinking with throttle curves and might enjoy just letting the computer deal with it.
