Well the 90 SE has been out for a while now.

I haven't heard much about them, in terms of negative feedback. So I guess NO News is Good News.

I understand their are few areas to keep an eye on during building, but then ALL helis have these little things.

What's the word ??

How are your machines holding up, after months of flying ??

Thanks

Paul

hi Paul

i am very pleased with my raptor SE.. no real worries with the build just change the tail screws..

really you need to use the quick uk flybar cage as this is much stronger than the arms that are supplied and gives faster cyclic...

i run V 95mm paddles and work great although i was never over happy with the cyclic rate..
i did the mod to the mixer arms were you move the ball in to 39mm from the centre and it made a real difference.. i can run +/- 11 and 7.5 degrees of cyclic with no binding..

here the link to the mod and some good info on the SE
http://www.scotiabladerunners.ca/90SE.htm

hope this helps Paul i am getting my second SE soon

Are you talking about the metal flybar arm???
I dont see why that gives faster cyclic compared to the plastic arms?

Marcel

i am talking about the quick uk cage

go into thunder tiger 60/90 parts and scroll about half way down
http://www.quickuk.co.uk/acatalog/r_index.htm

with the stock metal flybar control arms that come with the SE in the instructions it says to move the ball to the inner link to make it a faster cyclic which it helps a little but the quick uk cage is about 4-5mm even closer in so it makes it even faster..

plus its seems stronger..

Just mount the stock arm vice versa like Alan Szabo did. You just have to mill (or take lots of m3 washers) a aluspacer to lenghten the arms.
