I replaced the stock wood main and plastic tail blades with NHP carbon ones.. I did this because I had problem balancing the stock ones, although I've used them for about 2,5 gallons...

I had a problem though... I've set 1550rpm (hover) on the governor but it reached 1880, but not for an instance... This was while it was on the ground... Then i tried to check max RPM but was 0...
Isn't that strange?

The same day (today) I had a flat tyre and run out of bat!!!
It isn't my day today!!!

Some minor vibrations too with training gear, so I took it off without it!!! First time today!!!!

Going from stock woodies to NHP's will require you to set the curve up again. Turn off the GV-1 and go back to basics. Put the pitch gauge on.

I set up the pitch curve again (although I couldn't get exact pitch for both blades)....
I set up also the throttle curve...

But I cannot understand what is going wrong with the governor!!
I get arounf 1880 rpm (set to 1550) and maximum reading 0 ....

Perhaps the GV-1 sensor is bad? Should be ~90 on the magnet and zero off it.

The magnet shows 3% off and 84-87% on... Shouldn't this be ok??

I have it to display main rotor RPM!!!
I can hear the change from the engine!!!

The only thing I've changed is the carbon blades!!

Reading for the magnet from 3% to 87% shoudl be ok.
I would suggest you to check the SWCd function to see if you GV1 does turn on as your setting.

Do what deadfish suggests, check the SWCd screen to see that GV really turns on.

GV-1 memorize "max rpm" only if governor is ON and thottle stick position is more than 97% (as far as i remember)
So if You want to see max rpm you must fly, turn governor on and put full throttle. Than land the model and see max rpm. And don't turn off receiver. Max rpm don't memorize in flash memory of governor.
Read manul carefully

I had some intermittant radio problems that I finally chased down to a faulty GV1. First, go to the sensor screen and gently tug/twist the sensor wires where they go into the body of the sensor. The wires on the board sometimes fail from vibration. See if the sensor readings change dramatically.

I had already replaced the sensor and intermitantly the screen would not work at startup. The RPM would occasionally surge as you are describing, even with the GV1 not engaged. I though it was glitching, but swapping a Throttle Jockey solved my problems.

I went flying today!!!

Althouth the Governor on the screen turns ON with the switch while flying or on the ground I switch it off and then ON... NOTHING happens!!!

Could anyone with a Futaba 9C transmitter help me with the settings?? It used to work, I don't know what has happened!!

I get a reading of 87% from the sensor!!

As you stated yourself, you changed the servo horn and linkage.

You will have to re-set the limit's on the GV1 (idle - high and off).

Unfortunately not yet!!
For the next few weeks I won't have time, since I am in the exam period!!

I've checked with Sotiris (SPB) too but still nothing.. I cannot figure what is going wrong... It is very strange!!

Couldn't be the sensor.. I get a good reading..
Couldn't bet TX settings.. When I turn the switch on/off or move the stick I get the right reading on the GV-1..

I don't know what is the problem!!
