Maybe I should consider using some type of filtration/purification process?

Shemp RO is the best, but you need to have the right pressure coming in, or a small holding tank and a pump to support enough water pressure.

When I lived in Florida (college), the tap water was horrible. Using a filter or bottled water was the only way to enjoy drinking water. In that case, paying for water was certainly worth it.

I think the price they charge for bottled water is a rip off. I drank dasani. It actually only says purified or filtered on the bottle. I don't think it claims to be spring water. I drink Aquafina now because dasani adds salt. That is fine but it seems the level is not consistent or my taste for it is not consistent. Aquafina also claims to be purified which I have more faith in than some spring water that is used as a urinal by cows and such. I only started dinking it because it is easy to take to the flying field and I started to prefer the taste of it over tap. Actually there seems to be a link between the increase in bottled water use and an increase in tooth decay because of the lack of fluoride.

Taste is the only thing I care about in my water, that's why I just filter it through a Brita pitcher. Tap water here tastes like cow piss. I could really care less about some of the micro organisms and other crap in it. If that were the case, I'd never go out and eat at restaurants. Have you any idea what's in your Big Mac or polish sausage?

Dude, the pesticides in your vegetables will kill you just as fast. The carbon monoxide you breathe from the traffic you drive in while on your way to the health food store will also help do you in. When you get to the health food store, the asbestos ceiling there will give you cancer. When you leave the store and are walking back to your car in the parking lot, some little old lady could run you over. See where I'm going with this?

Have you any idea what's in your Big Mac
When I was in school I worked part time at night cleaning the grease hoods in fast food resturants. After what I saw in every McDonalds I went in, I refuse to eat there. There were dead rodents behind th friers, moldy food between the wall and whatever appliance was up against it, and the grease they fry food in is only changed periodically. They just cover it at night, and skim all the hair, bugs, etc off in the mornings. I know it gets hot enough to kill germs, but it's still the thought of it....

I know all FF chains are basically the same, but it's a psychological thing now. No more Mickie Dees.

If you did they could make a movie about your adventures, and you'd be rich.

Yeah, I've heard some scary stories. Here's one that's pretty nasty and scary: When I was about 16 or 17 years old (that was a long time ago) I used to work at KFC. I knew a fellow employee who used to piss in the frying batter for the chicken. Why I never turned his ass in I'll never know. Should have kicked his ass. Needless to say, I don't eat at KFC anymore.

Waste not, want not. In some cultures they eat everything on an animal that could possibly be eaten. Oh wait, we do that here in Oklahoma too, except we like to fry everything first.
