Does anybody have the heavyduty landing gear from helihobby? I was thinking of ordering a set but need to know the width, height and how long the skids are.

Thanks

I am not interested in switching frames. I just want to upgrade the landing gear on my hornet2 and those looked like they would work good but I need to know some dimentions.

My measurement on my HB frame is102mm long x 25mm wide 8mm high, that frame can be either glued or screwed on.I don' know if it's the same as your frame . I bought that frame and only lasted 2 crashes ! Then I went with the G10 and now i'm very

I hope I'm understanding your question.

The G-10 mounts onto your HB main frame just like the one you are looking at.

G-10 is far superior.

Ok Im a little confused. Where did the G-10 come from? What I was asking about is the landing gear in the pic in my first post. How wide and tall are they. I dont have a hummingbird, I have a hornet and from the pics they look like they will work but I need some measurements(cant tell seze from the pic and the website gives no numbers.

Mounted on my HB:
Front to rear mounting hole (center to center) = 83mm
Space between mounting ears = 19mm
Skid length = 140mm
Width between skids 118mm (center to center)

Of course there is some latitude on the mounting holes and it appears an extra 8 to 10mm are available with that skid length.

Skids are very soft and bend easy.
Gear it's self is very strong and survived many crashes.

Let's bring back survival of the fitest.

I ordered this for my v3 and it doesn't fit. It doesn't fit my v2 either. Does the G-10 fit easily? I might exchange...

Yes, the G10 frame is a good fit with very little modification this frame has my VOTE I really like the skids that come with it, Extremely Durable The frame it self very strong but can crack in a bad crash but is easily repairable. Save some of the scratch pieces that are left over from the kit for reinforcement when repairing with CA.I Reinforced my Frame on the "C"notch where the skids slide in using some scatch pieces much more stronger

I posted here because the part in question is made for hummingbirds.

James, thank you very much. That is the info I was looking for. How high are the landing gear? The width and length are just about perfect.

I ended up having to Dremel my frame to get the Hell-i-hobby landing gear to fit. I must admit though it has taken some brutal punishment once installed. After the Dremel work was done, it screwed together and no glue was needed.

Sorry it took so long to get back.. out of town on holiday stuff.
Ground to bottom of frame is 69mm
To top of frame 80mm

The mounting ears are flush with the top of the frame and the frame sits on the upper cross bar you see in the pic so the weight is not supported by the mounting screws.

Let's bring back survival of the fitest.
