I would advise against idleing the engine that much. The cooling system does not work effectively at idle. Just make shure you run it rich for several tanks.

The government cannot give you anything without first taking it from someone else.

Yeah, don't idle a new engine for 1 or 2 minutes. It's the worse thing you can do to a new engine, besides running to lean.

The whole LAW of running a new engine rich for breakin, at rpm, with a load, is the excess oil being passed thru the engine adds allot of cooling for the newly machined componants to wear in, and it gives the small particals from intial wear "or that sneaked in there" something to ride out on as it goes out the exhaust.

Most engine instructions tell you to turn the main needle out 1 turn from factory to ensure it's rich enough. Start it up and spool the enigne up as soon as you can for 10 to 20 sec, hover for 10 to 20sec, land and let spool with no load 10 to 20sec, idle down for 10 to 20sec, then repeat.

I do that for the first tank, on any engine i'm breaking in, car, aero, or heli. Bench or installed. After that just hover or gently forward flight. lean it a little between tanks, but 4 or 5 tanks should be plenty for a new nitro engine.

Thanks for all your advise!
Just finished first tank of fuel, and I am doing just like MrDHEJ said, Thank you!
I noticed that as soon as start left from ground, the noise keep trunning to the left, it is going to speading circle if I keep throttle it, I think that i need to check the rudder angle, and I will check the balance of two main blades later, hope I can fix it for 2nd tank tomorrow.
This is much fun and difficult than my RC cars

Sounds like your gyro is in normal mode, just adjust your tail linkage so it doesn't turn. what gyro you using?

Lemme just confirm what you are saying. As soon as it comes off the ground the nose turns left.

you are coming all the way off the ground correct? Cause if your gyro direction is backwards "it is differant then rudder direction", if the heli comes ALL the way off the ground it will piro in less then a blink of the eye.

If it's just a gradule turn that you can compensate with rudder then it's just your linkage that needs adjusted. When in HH mode it won't matter if it's out by allot.

I am not familer with that gyro, but it is heading hold?

I just find out that I plug the red lead into channel 5 , I don't my Futaba 7CHP have software for it, I noticed that without red lead in CH5, and I move helicopter noise to right, rudder servo has reaction to it, but if I plug in CH5 and rudder servo doesn't move at all.
