90 tank in R30
Thanks
Thats nice, with a R90 tank, then we can fly long time without re-fueling. Only need to make sure the RX battery last through.

Any idea thr R90 capacity?

Appreciated.

R50 V2 is 340cc and R90 are 550cc/18.59 0z. (US)

On onlyraptors.com they show that the 30V2 and 50 V2 use the same frames (PV0362) and fuel tank (PV0363).

Heli88 iam afraid that you are mistaken on the size of the tanks on the r-50 and the r-90.the r-50/30s are 340cc
the r-90s are 550ccs they are not the same size, i myself tryed to cram a 90 tank in my 30, dident work tho.

Hey I didn't ask for this fetish.!!!But I'am sure paying for it....

While we are at it, what capacity is the R60 tank? I have one but I couldn't find any size specification.

the original fuel tank PV0034 was 10oz (300cc).

the PV0363 larger tank (now standard on V2s) is
either 330 or 370 (I've seen conflicting data but
its either 1oz or 2oz (30cc = 1oz) larger.

Ain't no way you're gonna get 500+ into a
Rap30 frame. and the weight would kill you.

There is also a PV0119 Rap30v1 tank 330cc.

when i tryed to get the 550 in there the frame screws dident line up. but i did see where a guy did put a 550cc in his 30 or 50, he heated the tank and smashed it down so it fit and the screws to line up, there is room lenth wise but the width is the problem area.

Someone did it, I've seen it too. But the standard 50 tank is large enough for me, no need to fiddle about with it.

Raptor fuel tanks that are available are as follows:

PV0034 250cc used in 30 V1
PV0119 330cc used in 50 V1 upgrade for 30 V1
PV0363 340cc used in 50 V2 upgrade for 30 V2
PV0160 450cc used in 60 V1,V2
PV0310 550cc used 90 STD upgrade for 60 V2

As for shoving the PV0310 into 50 V2 I would like to see that. It’s the PV0160 that You should be able to shove into the 50 V2.

hey
yea id just keep your stock tank....cramming a 90 tank into a 30/50 is for people that have nothing to do any love to try different modifications...
z1355 you're right....the weight would be a problem...also the balance inssue...

Thanks

PV0034 250cc used in 30 V1
thanks for that rundown.

I will say that I have a spare PV0034 sitting in
my parts box and I just filled it w/ water.

It took 240/250cc to get it to fill the rectangular
portion of the tank (not the angled tophat).
Once the tank was absolutely full, it was just
shy of 300.

Just my .02 cents...

I use the 330cc PV0119 fuel cell in my 30 V1 and I went from 11 minutes on the main (stock fuel cell) to around 15 minutes with the 330cc. I get tired of standing for that long so that tank is great for what I needed to do, increase my flight time just a few minutes.

Good Luck,
Rick

PS. I havent noticed any C/G issues with the 330cc.
