Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I have just recently installed a brushless system on my zap 400. When I first started it up, the motor was going in reverse. So as per instructions from the speedy manual, I reversed the polarity of the speedy connection to the brushless motor. No luck and this time the motor would not even move at all. Im stuck.

hi
there are three wires to the motor from the esc , to reverse direction you need to switch just two of the wires , hope you didnt reverse the wires from the battery to the esc

if your using the CC phoenix controller, you can change the direction from the program. If you have the phoenix link that is. Otherwise, You should be able to just change 2 plugs around and have it change rotation. If its soldered, it would be easier to change it via phoenix link.

Sounds to me like you changed the polarity on battery to speed control, should not have hurt anything, should have been polarity guarded, just change back and change two wires going to motor.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks guys! i finally figured it out. It was my soldering that was not making the connection to one of the wires.
