THANKS to all the help here, I got the head assembled tonight! One question. One of the blade grips rotates more easily than the other. There isn't any binding that I can feel, just one side is easier to rotate. I've tried tightening the hex bolts on each end tight and loose, but the difference remains the same. Just how loose or tight do I get the bolts and how free should the grips rotate?
Thanks again,
Joe

they should be tight and thread locked i had the same with a metal head check the bolt is not catching on the inside hole of the grip check you have put all the bearings in the right way round !!! check when you move them its not un-doing the bolt it should be quite free

I've checked the bearings and they are in place correctly. In order to tighten them I have to tighten both sides at once (or the other side will turn) - how tight do I need? When I move them the arm is free and not undoing the bolt, it's just one side moves easier than the other.
This ok?

you tighten them together against each other if the bolt is not catching you might find they will losen when spun up on the head but it should not be stiff if you un-sure go to some were and get it cheked out better safe than sorry the bolts need to be tight and thread locked

Ok, I have it all finished now. You were right, the screws need to be tight. I called Robbeusa and he said that perhaps I had one of the washers wrong - I checked and sure enough - I had one side with the BIG washers on it and the OTHER one with BOTH small ones! I guess it shows you not to do this when you are tired late at night...
I still had a bit of friction when I tightend them down, Robbe suggested I pull/push to see if something was unseated - sure enough it was. Now I have the washers correct, the bolts locktite glued and tight, and both grips turn smoothly.
Great help, thanks!
