I have a gv1 with and using a JR 9303. I have it setup to turn on and off with the gear switch, and then 3 different rpms selected for Normal mode, 1, and 2. My question is, can I, and if so how, can I set up the governor in normal mode to operate with the governor turned on via the gear switch, and then have it to be activated only once the throttle is 30-40% on the stick? Any help appreciated

The StSw function does what you´re looking for, but it turns on the GV at 15% (and not the 30-40% you´re looking for ).
Im using gear as on/off, then with StSw activated its activated once the throttle is above 15% and with V-curves in idle up it´s still on. No need for any mixing to make throttle hold work - it turns the GV off.

Ok, when I tried the StSw function I could turn the governor on/off by the throttle stick only, I could not turn the governor off all together using the gear switch though. I guess what I am saying is I dont want the governor on all the time and turning it on/off using the throttle stick. I would like to be able to turn the governor on and off using a gear switch, but then the governor only engage once the throttle stick is moved.

I can turn it on/off with gear switch, this way GEAR becomes the master switch, if its off, the StSw function cant turn the GV on.

Aux = GEAR channel
Aux RPM = Aux3 channel
StSw active.

Nothing more than that. Im using a 9X.
Are you checking the SWCd screen on the GV to see when its on and when its off?
Also dont forget get to set v curves in idle up when flying with StSw active (so the GV doesnt turns off at lowstick position).

Ah no, sorry forgot to mention that, the 9X version Im using (first version) don´t have the governer function built in, so Im setting the rpm on the GV control box.
