I'm new! Can any Nitro Heli be fitted with a Gas engine or is the Gassr the only Heli fired with Gas as opposed to Nitro fuel?

Please educate me.

Thx in advance,
Lee

Any .60-sized and above, with enough ingenuity, patience and cash, can become a gasser...

Being the first to convert a Predator with a G26, and a Raptor with an MVVS 2.10 (also a Bergen Intrepid), I suggest you just buy one ready to go; it will save wear on your soul...

Sure, and you could take a gasser and put in a nitro if you wanted to even make it an electric!

Thx a lot gentlemen. It's food for thought although I've heard the Gasser's vibrate more than the Nitro's so it may not be the correct direction if I'm interested in AP.
Thx again - LearningLee

Lee I see you fly in MA. I used to fly in Somerset MA and in Danvers/Salem. Are you still there?

Practice! It might be costly but it's the only way we get better!

YBLee,

I certainly don't know from experience but I've heard the same. However, modelSPORT video #0701 reviewed the YW-48B2, an opposed twin that fires both cylinders at the same time and is supposedly very smooth. Weight not much more than a G23 with twice the cc's. That would probably make a pretty interesting gasser!
