In the 3dmp instruction manual...

"The thin, single wires sticking out the insulation
besides the main cable must, under no circumstances, be soldered together with the main cable into the
connectors"

But a note in the box with the motor...

"Caution, The additional wires beneath the motor wires are from the interference capacitors and should be soldered together with the motor cable in the plugs"

So which ones right?

Thanks

Nigel

Damn - thought Id solved this one. Spoke to revo yesterday am on this and was told that I should not solder the thin wire in the connectior, but make sure they were under the heatshrink on the outside of the connector. I think something to do with them not accepting solder as they were stainless steel?

If the motor instructions say solder in - then thats what i am going to do. Cant see what diff it would make anyhow?

Sorry guys, I went with the 'Plettenberg' option and that motor doesn't have the wires you are talking about .

If it were me, I'd go with the motor manufacturers instructions over anyone elses though

Cheers
Richard.
