Page file is a means to increase available memory space by using a % of your hard drive as virtual memory.

You can change it by right clicking on My Computer and selecting Properties and the Avdanced Tab then Performance options and Change.

If you don't know what you are doing in here I would suggest you don't play with it.

buy a lot of ram and run the page file from it instead of your hard drive. you'll see a great improvement.
