anyone know what size arrow shaft will work as a tail boom?I have lots of old arrows laying around.I also have some ulra lite shafts that have a thinner wall thickness and are just as strong it woud probly use a larger bearing, might be somthing to look into.anyone try that yet?

Arrow shaft

Closest we have found is the Carbon Express by Game Tracker..

CXL150 series.. It is a .350"(8.9mm) od which is a tiny bit larger than the factory Al. boom... Appears to be same diameter as the Evoflight CF boom... Keep in mind that the arrow shaft is not a rigid as the factory boom and you may notice a slight tail vibe that you didn't see with the factory boom.. It can be resolved but is a little more meticulous to get out when you have an amplifyer ...

I pulled a box out of the closet myself. Brand New, XX75. If you trim the vanes off you can get two / arrow. BJ

Easton sizes work with any that have the 1st number of 22 or 23. That is the outside diameter of the arrow in 64th's of an inch. The second number is the wall thickness. I'm using a 2312 X7 Caliber series and like it. It is a tad wider and I needed to sand down my boom fin mounts a touch, but I like th tight fit in the frame and my tail case.
