I have read in a few places now that the gear ratio as well as the size of the tail rotor blades of the Raptor V2 .30 and the Raptor V2 .50 is the same. Due to this, the tail becomes slightly less effective in 3D flying when going up in size to the Raptor .50 because it must compensate for the increase in torque with the same specs as the .30 Is this true, and is the difference something to be concerned about? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes, all true, but a blade change sets it straight again.

Put NHP85s on ,and you will have plenty of tail authority to do all but the most demanding tricks.

The fact that the 50's tail rotor has a bit more leverage on the fuselage must help out at least a bit, too.
