After dumping my bird and repairing it umteen times I kicked up
a new V3 body complete with main and tail motor. I took all the
electronics off my old V3 and transfered them to the new body.
Now the tail is bobbing up and down on the new one. I tried adjusting the mix and gain on the Hummingboard to no avail. I also moved the
battery to change the CG but that didn't help. I took the motor out of
my old bird and switched them thinking mayby it was the motor. No luck. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Tail is bobbing up and down? What exactly do you mean? I am picturing that your tail motor is vertically going up and down. And if this is the case.... well this one might challenge a few of us here.

I had the same problem and got some advice from people here. They said to advance the main blades a little bit and tighten them down so they almost don't move. Also they said to up the headspeed a little bit. I did both and it solved the problem. Look on my post for more advice. It says Problem with fore and aft wobble. Good luck and have a great Christmas

Hi there,
Balance the blades, and do them up tight should get rid of this problem. Also check that your flybar and paddles are central and have not slipped. Check your mainshaft isnt bent. CG, the heli should be slightly nose heavy when held by the flybar at 90 deg to the heli.
Hope this helps

Just thought I would let you know. I advanced the blades ahead a little bit and checked the CG. Moving the blades ahead took care of the problem. Thanks to all of you for the help.
