DjBac rrNovice Athens/GREECE | The ones who have the Twister X can write some opinions?

ifly65 rrApprentice The Arch | Yes I love my twister with the MS 116 ESC. I dont need to use the governer. Flies strong for 3d with the tp 1320 and the apogee 1050 lipo's.

Lowell Foo rrApprentice Vancouver, BC, Canada | What sort of flight times are you getting with the TP1320s, and what is the AUW?

SPINOUT rrApprentice Cape Town South Africa | MS 116 esc not any programing to worry about just plug and play , only have to select normal or governor mode. The MS 116 works very well with the twister and so far no emf interference on the receiver . SPINOUT

QuantumPSI rrElite Veteran Atlanta, GA | You won't need a lipo volt cutoff and probaly shouldn't have one on these micro helis. Because of micros light weight, they do not like to auto and I don't recommend anyone try unless they got the money and/or the balls. Anywho... when I fly my H2, it is quite clear when the battery is getting low. As for the governor mode, it is very different than say the phoenix 10. With the MS116, in governor mode, you run the helicopter and set the throttle you want. You leave it at that setting for 8 seconds and don't move it throughout the flight and that'll be your set rpm. Hope this clears things up a bit.Mikel...now where was I, dh/dt = BS-dx/dt

ifly65 rrApprentice The Arch | hmmm? I have flown about 40 flights on my H2 with the MS116...I fly until I notice it getting 'soft' and I stop. I HAVE NOT ruined my Thunder Power, nor my Apogee Lipo packs. They are still in perfect working order.

QuantumPSI rrElite Veteran Atlanta, GA | Yeah, cause with my H2, it gets quite obvious when the voltage gets around 10v. It still flies but not as much fun. I see no need for a voltage cutoff cause if it does cut off and you're 100 feet up, YOU'RE SCREWED. I'd rather have a ruined battery than a ruined helicopter.Mikel...now where was I, dh/dt = BS-dx/dt

Svekke rrNovice Belgium | You can actually put a lipo saver between the battery and esc, its very small (only 2 grams) and warns you when your 3s pack reaches 9v with a led or audible tone. Then you can land safely without surprises and still take good care of your batteries.
