Has anyone been able to use another radio with the Kyosho Caliber M24?

The radio included in the kit seems to be an OEMd Futaba (SkySport?), so at least it seems possible.
I tried it with my Hitec Eclipse 7 (Both positive and negative pulse), but the 4-in-1 module never kicked in (wouldn't start because it didn't sense the throttle at idle)

I'd really like to use the same radio as for my nitro models.

If not, I guess I'll just go all the way and get myself a hornet 2.

Doesn't seem to work for me though..

Moved the RX Crystal from my nitro to the M24, and switched over to a fresh "Acro" memory on the TX (I'm assuming acro would be right here, since it's a FP heli).
Default for Acro is Ch2+Ch3 reversed. Tried it with Pos/Neg pulse, nothing..
Tried reversing Ch2+Ch3 back to normal. Pos/Neg again, yet nothing..

Would a Heli program make any difference? I can't really see why it would.. And I'm also assuming I should use normal PCM, and not QPCM ?

I'm glad someone has done it though, that means here's hope for this one yet..

Norwegian greetings to you, my fellow countryman,
/James
