I agree with BimmerM3, but have you ever thought about a concept 30?

there are a couple Concept 30 DX's on ebay right now that are going pretty cheap, the DX's come with 1 or 2 ball bearings, i know the head doesnt have any, but the DX can easily be converted to an SRX which has full 3D capabilities, and it doesnt stop there, you can still upgrade to a Zeal all metal swash and they even make a metal full flapping head. if 3D isnt quite making your tool stand up.... kyosho offers a few nice scale bodies that are plug and play! no mods needed, they bolt right up!

MFA 500....damn fine...damn fine...didn't that have the upgraded 3 piece clutch that was wrapped with a spring? Way ahead of its time

Engine dying mid-range OS .32 F-H

Hello experienced pilots. Need help setting up my Nexus -yes, I'm a begginer- I know you veterans hate this machine but you also started somewhere right?
Well this is my start in the hobby (flew airplanes and had cars)

The engine starts great, runs smooth until one third throttle, then starts coughing. Never goes full throttle range. Have tried numerous settings and no luck.
Could it be that it was used at a different altitude (I'm in Miami -sea level- )maybe a I need to change something in the carb?

However I set the needle in the carb I alwyas find the landing gear wet with unburned gas out of the pipe. Very little colored smoke comes out -white or gray smoke is not there.

If I close the needle it doesn't sart, if I open it it does but it only goes a third of the throttle.

HELP!

There is a create new thread button to make your own topic or you can use the reply to button.

As for the engine you have to make sure the high speed needle is open the right amount of turns and then lean it out a little at a time from there. Also you have to make sure your pitch and throttle curves are set right in the transmitter.
