This is the second pair I refurbished. I am looking for feedback / giving others ideas.

So I break blades every 5 - 10 days... My theory is you can't learn without crashing


I did notice that most of the blade do not loose leading edge integrity, but instead the trailing edge snaps up & down. For leading edge damage, I discard the blades.

With the dented blades, I take the fillm off, thin CA the trailing edge back & wrap the blade with solite. The bonus is that you can get whatever color you want (I had a red and yellow blade - easy for tracking!).

With transparent covering, one could embed leds in the lightening holes....

Anybody done that? I do run on a 4200 & have gone through 2 sets without any problems - until personal abuse

I now have half a dozen blades I pulled out of the trash can....
