Ok got a question for you xcell guys I have an 1003 kit it is about 3 years old and as far as I can tell it came with a se fiberglass canopy.
I have kept the on/off switch and charger cable wrapped with my reciever box and battery, the problem I have is I always have to take the canopy off to turn on the reciever or to charge it. Where is everyone mounting the on off switch ? I have been thinking about mounting it to the frame but I haven't found a good place as of yet. I have been flying this heli for over 3 years and I hate having to take the canopy off every time I fly the heli. if anybody has any pictures of where they mount the switch that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

From a picture of the 1004SE kit, there is a switch mount in the frame. If you look from the back, it's on the right side just above the fuel tank.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

switch

If you have the plastic servo tray there was a switch mount that came with it, you install at back of tray towards motor on the left side (looking from the back to front) with two of the screws of the same type that are used to assemble servo tray. I don't have a picture. If you have any questions ask again. Chris
I found this diagram online.

The switch holder is on page 10 number 0575-8.
