I was gluing my boom into the frame and I thought I had a second or two to adjust it level but it got stuck in the wrong position. I tried CA debonder but no go. I've got another boom here. I'd like to save my frame and tail rotor assembly if I can. What's a good way to remove it?

Drill it out. That's the only thing that worked for me.

synchro505;

Not sure what kind of debonder you used, but the Nitromethane based debonders (Kwik Bond) work 100 times better than the rest.

I used some to remove a tailboom recently. Use several applications and let soak in each time. Grab firmly and twist.

My Acetone based debonder didn't even faze the CA joint.

No need for debonder, heat it up baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have a heat gun, heat up the end that connects to the frame and...... Whala!!! It debonds itself.

I'll ask about the heat gun as I'm not sure: do you heat the carbon boom or the plastic where the boom goes in?

Thx.
(will go buy that kwik bond CA remover product at my LHS tomorrow)

I just boil them.
and twist.

just remove a boom today, give it 3-4 min in boiling water and take it out and twist with some force.

Very easy, no debonder needed.
