Crashed my logo today.
Did some agressive manouvres and fast piro’s (about 4 in a sec) then full the other way. This was to much for the logo and the tail become uncontrollable. 2-3 seconds later it wasn’t as pretty as before the flight
Maybe I could have saved it if I hit the throttle hold and did an auto to the ground. But it went to fast.




Don’t know what went wrong. If I spin the maingear the tail follows as it should be. And I did check the belt tension before the flight.
Well.. think its upgrade time again

Wow! that was a bad crash! Looks like the heli digged into the ground.

Sorry about the crash, but, as you said, it is an upgrade opportunity.

Cheer up! Clean up! and fix it up! ---- then go flying again.

Got the upgrade list started ? Yeah it won't look so bad once ya get it cleaned-up . Looks like ya had a good one going though .
Also kinda looks like one of those "Chia Pets" , what with all the grass growing off of it

Blazing piros with abrupt stops (reversing ones at that) is asking for trouble in several ways (mid-air boomstrikes, stripped drive-train components to name a couple). Sorry it happened..it's a lesson many of us have learned the hard (expensive) way.

Mr. Magoo is right. you cant do really fast piros, then slam the stick the other way. this puts way to much stress on the tail and almost always causes the main gear to strip-out. theres also really no reason to do this in the air anyway.

Hi guy’s,

No tail damage (except a big dent, but that was because it made a boomstrike on ground-impact) , only the maingear was a bit striped. So I think Swatace23 was right.
I declared the Logo a total loss and bought a new one. Does anybody know where I can get gears for my s9650 servo’s? I striped one pair. (in Europe if possible)

I made a short video from some piro’s I did a couple of weeks before the crash. It isn’t as quick as I did what caused the tail to malfunction but I want to know if these are allright to do, or is this also asking for trouble?
