I recently placed an order via the Robbe USA web site and would like to hear experiences from other folks regarding order treatment. I received partial shipment due to some items being back-ordered, however the Robbe site indicates that the order has been "completed" and no indication when the back-ordered items will become available or even that they'll be shipped. They've only charged my credit card for the shipped items (thank you), but a call onto their store number didn't get me any further than the info on their website.

It would have been nice to know whether items were in stock or not at checkout time, but even a simple email indicating that items had been back-ordered would also have sufficed. I didn't get any indication of the order being handled until I received the partial shipment (it was always marked with a status of Q, as in queued for processing, on the ordering site) -- IMO, very unprofessional. Not only that, but after I received the latter and visited the order status site, they had added a one line comment showing a tracking number. If I click on the field and cursor to the right (hidden from view due to small field size) I then get to see that certain items were not shipped. What's even more frustrating, is that they apparently also skipped some items, hence neither shipped nor indicated they were back-ordered!!!

This being my first order with Robbe, I'm extremely frustrated by the lack of customer care and the misleading order status information. Is this typical order handling at Robbe?

Poor Robbe Customer Service

Yes! i too have had a really bad exprience with Robbe's site.
and yes, the same thing happened to me.
what really sucks is that i even spoke with paul, i believe that's his name. and made the order with him. he stated that all my items were in stock.
when i received the package, 1/4 of the items i ordered was not there.
he only charged me with what was sent out. but there was no mesage from him informing me that i was not getting my full order.
another time,not too long ago i ordered some parts from him. he said it will be on it's way. remembering what happened last time, i called back and asked him to check personally if all items was in stock. he seemed annoyed but did so with hesitation. when he got back with me he said that only two items that i ordered was in stock. needless to say i cancelled my order and got my parts elsewhere.
i have heard a lot of complaints from people about this guy.
heck! i just got a Dyna-X coversion kit for $200 from a guy who sold all his Robbe helis just because he got fed up with this guy's bs. so he decided to give up on Robbe rather than deal with them.
indeed Robbe USA have had really bad customer service in the past and in the future as long as this guy is the one handling this business.
the prices he has are great compared to the other sites but what good are they if he doesn't stock them???
i'd rather pay a little more at rick's, heliproz, or rc market at least i know i'm getting what i ordered. a few more dollars isn't going to break my back.
if it will then i'll be flying a raptor or something. no offense on the rappy guys of course.

I checked Rick's before RobbeUsa and prices were much higher than at Robbe. I'm not giving up on Robbe USA yet, although now they're not even answering their order line.

Oh, and Rick's Robbe link is broken now.

So much for trying to wait ... looks like my "order" has now mysteriously disappeared. Still have parts to order so guess Rick's will get the business.

I ordered the Robbe start shaft from their website and it was cheaper than Rick's or Heliproz. Shipping was reasonable and it arrived in a timely manner.
