I buy her some photographic stuff.

I do RC Helis and Planes, Plastic Aircraft Modelling and Woodworking for hobbies, while she does Photography. Makes me happy, and makes her happy.

She has no problem that I spend on my hobbies, as long as the bills and the mortgage gets paid. She buys the food.

Seriously, hobbies is fine to make life interesting but they can't be a lifelong companion.

Cheers.

Look you gotta be smart, you have to make it sound like that if you was not doing this you would be in a bar or worse a lapdancing club, getting hammered, spending 4x the money you are now, comming in late stinking of booze, bring back pissed mates that makes lots of noise, and have a general disruptive effect on the home

Or you could be sitting at home playing your helis

ps MY wife said to me earlier a simple deal i can have a another 90 heli and she gets 200 quid thats about $430, i think i will go for it

I am a wife too

Can you imagine what its like when both of us are in the LHS?$$$$£££££ lol

Seriously, the best solution is to tell the truth, yes i know that might be hard boys

I know of a wife who would rather spend hundreds of pounds on a new kitchen rather than let her hubby spend on his hobby, to me thats just selfish
At least i know where my husband is and what he his spending his money on, the above wife doesnt

The problem mainly lies in the amount of time you spend on your heli`s not the amount. When my husband started showing an interest in the hobby he went on and on for weeks drove me insane lol

Now we do this together, and although his passion for the hobby is stronger than mine at the moment, we compromise on upgrades etc
Its a delicate balance, tread carefully guys

You're only young once; you can be immature forever.
