I also had a thought that maybe when running it up on the ground that people may just rev it up too fast. I run my Shogun up gradually on the ground to let everything rotating find their place then go. Quick transient throttle bursts could load the gears much more.
I run up my Raptor gradually too of course.
Whip the throttle like a rc car and something could get overstressed.

Very true Turbomni! I also use the soft start mode on my CC-25 and in gov. mode.
