My Posts: All  Forum  Topic

Hi all,
I just in the last few weeks moved over from my cp HB to a zoom 400 what an upgrade. Flys so much better but my 1200 hp etecs just are not up to the job and bog down and get very hot (over 70c). I’m lucky that my dad also has a zoom and he’s using some polyquest 1500 cells which I was able to try. They gave me so much more power that my pinion flew off ( no damage very lucky). So I been looking for some new cells and found these >>>E-Tec HP 1700mAh 10C Li-Poly THREE CELLS IN SERIES - 11.1V, 17.0A Continuous 130g. Has anyone tried these yet ? or should I just stick to the polyquest 1500 packs.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I don't know about either of those packs, but the Apogee 1660 are awsome. They are 1660mah, with a 18A continuous, 24A burst (5-10 sec) and weight 120 grams.

I'd go with the Polyquest. They are superb cells IMO. A pack of 3 weighs just 105g so you are saving a bit of weight over the others you mentioned. At 10c continuous and 15c busrts they have great power too. Or if you're happy with a bit more weight, what about the new Polyquest 1800mAh cells? A 3s1p weighs only 125g and can handle 12c continuously and 16c in bursts of >20 sec
