Anyone knows the boca bearings part number for the TT50 engine?

Which are the best? The ceramics I suppose?

Why spend more than you have to for the bearings you need? Boca is way overpriced and sells cheapo Chinese import no name bearings. Since you are in Europe contact "Desertsky" here on RR - he will sell you what you need and save you a bundle over Boca. You might also be able to buy good quality bearings locally in Athens but this I can't guarantee as the closest to Greece I have ever been was eating a good Mousaka here in the US.

LOL ShempHoward. I'll send you a bucket of original home made mousaka

So you are saying that SKF will be enough? I just left an SKF distributor. I bought a 10 Kgs ball bearing for a ships engine.

My TT50 has only two gallons on it but on a crash two days ago the cranckcase broke. So I was thinking since I am gonna dismantle the engine to replace the cranckcase to replace the the bb as well with better quality in order to avoid dismantling the engine six months later.

There are quite a few makers of quality bearings in sizes that fit most glow engines. SKF is one of the best so all you need do is to take the TT50 bearings and crankshaft down to your local SKF retailer and have him match them up with replacements. Here I have a choice of several bearing supply houses all of which have prices that are far lower than Tower and Boca plus they usually have what I need in stock in a variety of brand names such as SKF, FAG, NTN, etc. If they don't have what I need they will get it in 1-3 days time. Not all local bearing supply houses are "user friendly" as some have minimum purchase rules and higher prices. BTW - Many bearings are now made in China but to the specs of the paricular brand name. I find this different than buying a no name bearing from Boca and paying a high price for them.

Thanks ShempHoward you saved me some $$$. I'll do that tommorow. I took out the old bearings and I'll go tommorow with the cranckcase and the cranckshaft to a shop.

I am dealing with shipping business so almost every month we need various bb as spares for the engines so I have some shops that I am dealling with them very often. I couldn't imagine that they will have bb matching our small engines since the smallest bb I am buying from them is at the size of my 50

I think SKF are the best so i'll look for them first.

I can recommend desertsky also.
I think his website is rc-bearings.com.
Much cheaper than Boca and he is in England.
