I finally got to building my logo 14..almost completed but i ran into 1 problem

when assembing the flybar area with the bridge and bearings in the head.....

it seems that the metal sleeves with the ball on them that slide on the flybar and then through the bridge and then into the bearing in the rocking section...

it looks like that aluminum part #714 doesnt fit the bearings in the head rocking section... the 5x13x5 bearing...it is too tight to slide into the bearing at all.

did anyone else have this problem ???

I had similar problem building Logo 10. Two ways to solve this problem:

One is to lightly sand the end of the ball bolts to fit the ball bearings; I prefer to line up the ball bearing with the ball bolt and use a vise to squeeze them together.

Then you put the ball bearing (with attached ball bolt) on the seesaw, then screw the upper piece of the seesaw over the bearing.

This is a little bit different from the sequence of assembly depicted by the manual.

On manual P45, before you screw on the #935, the ball bolts were already attached to the ball bearings as I had suggested above.

And, before you screw on #935, you may want to thread the flybar through the ball bolts and #940 because the hole in #940 may not line up correctly inside the seesaw and would be difficult to line up once it is covered by #935.

Hope this helps.

Hi Larry,
I have run into the same problem that you have described with your logo 14.I was just wondering how you have resolved this.
Were you able to polish the arms to fit.or did we just get a bad fitting pair of ball bolts?Would a new pair be any better?
