the stock frame with the supplied adapters
from my search they won't fit the hitec 85's
if not how do you guys mount
your servos or r most of u using standard size one's
cos i was thinking of using the hitec 225's

The easiest (and probably best) solution would be to get a set of carbon frames from Mr. Carbon or Carbon Extreme. Both of these should be precut for the Hitec's. The KSJ carbon frames are nice, but are not cut for the smaller servos like the 85's.

Using the carbon frames gives a couple of advantages...rigidity and weight reduction. You'll save weight with the frames themselves and more weight with the smaller servos. The strength of the c/f frames goes without saying.

The VE needs some help to be kept light enough to perform up to it's potential. Using full sized servos is not going to help the situation at all.
