"W" came to speak. As you remember in 2000, Florida carried a lot of weight in the elections I wasn't here then, but will make sure that he gets my vote and will assist others who couldn't figure out how to vote....if they push the "R" button in lieu of "d".

It was so freakin cool to be less than 200 yards away from the President of the United States!

Hey I saw them too! Two of the AF1 birds, followed by 4 CH-53's.

We were out flying in a field by the interstate, and then we saw the two AF1 birds zip by, then two CH-53's then two more CH-53's. This was around (guessing here) 9:30-10a in Sarasota. Fun to see them, and boy they can sure move at a good pace.

I was a helicopter mechanic for 10 years working at sikorky aircraft, 3 of them working on the HMX-1 squadron. That brings back some memories.

Most of the time he will be in a S-61. There are also a few blackhawks that he flies in. He will only be in a "white top". The squadron also has some 53's for press transport and vehicle transport.

Those helicopters are cool, but the president isn't...
The president is not cool?? Your right he's NOT.. Read this below and find out what he REALLY IS!!!

Our President

The man who admitted to having a drinking problem in younger
years, and whose happy-go-lucky lifestyle led him to
mediocre grades in college and an ill-fated oil venture. Who
mangled syntax, and whose speaking missteps became known as
"Bushisms."

He came within a hair's breadth of losing the election in
November. While votes were counted and re-counted, Bush
quietly but confidently waited at his ranch.

Make no mistake, his orders were carried out, but he stayed
in the background, faithful and confident. Bush named Jesus
Christ as Lord of his life on public TV. Not an oblique
reference to being "born-again" or having a "life change."
He actually said the un-PC-like phrase, "Jesus Christ"!

On September 11, he was thrust into a position only known by
Roosevelt, Churchill, Lincoln, and Washington! The weight of
the world was on his shoulders, and the responsibility of a
generation was on his soul.

So President George W. Bush walked to his seat at the front
of the National Cathedral just three days after two of the
most impressive symbols of American capitalism and
prosperity virtually evaporated.

When the history of this time is written, it will be
acknowledged by friend and foe alike that President George
W. Bush came of age in that cathedral and lifted a nation
off its knees. In what was one of the most impressive
exhibitions of self-control in presidential history,
President George W. Bush was able to deliver his remarks
without losing his resolve, focus, or confidence.

God's hand, which guided him through that sliver-thin
election, now rested fully on him. As he walked back to his
seat, the camera angle was appropriate. He was virtually
alone in the scene, alone in that massive place of God; just
him and the Lord.

Back at his seat, George H. Bush reached over and took his
son's hand. In that gesture his father seemed to say, "I
wish I could do this for you, son, but I can't. You have to
do this on your own." Pres. George W. Bush squeezed back and
gave him a look of peace that said, "I don't have to do it
alone, Dad. I've got help."

What a blessing to have a professing Christian as President.
Please take a moment after you read this to pray for him. He
truly does have the weight of the world on his shoulders.
Pray that God will sustain him and give him wisdom and
discernment in his decisions.

Pray for his protection and that of his family. After you
have prayed, send this to everyone on your e-mail list. Our
President needs Christians around the world to be praying
for him. As this makes the e-mail rounds, eventually there
could literally be people praying for him 24/7.

And don't forget to pray for another victory on November 2.
America needs this man of faith for a second term

Ahahahaha! That was the leprechaun. Seriously though, why does religion matter in a leader? You never know when someone is faking it in hopes of gaining more support.

on religion & bush

have you ever read machiavelli?
i think bush has...

being religious is one of the best ways to get people to identify you but one of the least desireable traits for a leader to have.

It's meaningless... Something you may want to research is leaders who were obviously evil proclaiming to be doing the will of God or proclaiming to be Christians... Such as Hitler.

Words mean nothing... It's the fruits that matter.

Exactly! When you hear someone say "thats what god wants", then you simply kick them in the nuts and say "thats what he wanted right now"
