Want to add a switch to the ZOOM to prevent that fear the heli will spin by mistake each time I connect or disconnect the pack.

The simple way is along the main wires coming from the connector. But then, the switch will have to handle 15Amps.

The other option is one of the wires going to th Rx.
What do you recommend?

It's easiest to connect the switch between the receiver battery and the receiver.

Take Care,

Use a standard......

Just use a standard mini switch harness. it's inline as the above post states.... between battery & recv. The ESC cannot arm. with the switch off. No drain on battery, I have em in my foamies (the one's I plant in the ground) you can even shorten the leads with standard servo connectors to save more weight.

oic, well in that case you will have to put it in between the BEC and the receiver. If you don't have a external BEC then you have to wire it between the ESC and the receiver.

ZIGZAG is right the best way is to use throttle hold switch on your TX.

I always have that switched before I plug in the battery and at the end of the flight switch it back in again before I unpluck them.

No way will it then spin up if you knock the throttle

Throttle Hold is a good way when doing set up on the bench.

But the safest way is to put a connector between ESC and motor. Just unplug it when doing work on tail or cyclics. That will prevent accidental spool ups and your servos will still be working.

Use Deans Part #1003. That is a three prong ulta light weight polorized connector that will easily handle all the 15 amps you are going to use.

I have the Phoenix 25 Brushless Sensorless ESC .
The only option to use low amp switch is inline the switch with one of the 3 wires going to the Rx (+,-, Signal)

I guess I will put it along the + to shut the Rx. My question is:
Can the Esc arm itself (or glitch and spin the motor) in this case?
