3D Masters 2005, World 3D Helicopter Competition, will take place at UCN Northampton on the weekend of 22, 23, 24 July 2005.
Entry Forms, Tickets and Accommodation for the event will be available from January 2005 at http://www.3dmasters.org.uk.
Set Manoeuvres will be published in November 2004.
Can't wait.

Forms coming in thick and fast by fax and email.
All forms received within one week will be given equal weighting when we consider entrants. Include bio notes of relevant info.

hi ive never been to the 3d masters before and was wondering if you get to talk to the 3d pilots like alan szabo and curtis young blood ??

Hi.

You can get to talk to these top guys if you can catch them in the evenings or between round.
Unfortunitly no spectator can enter either the pits areas or Airside so during the competition, unless they leave the pits for while, you will indeed have to wait until an evening time.

Just keep your eyes open for them and see how it goes. I have found that some of the top pilots are a bit focused in the competition to be chatting alot. Some find it good to sit quietly in the pits and metally go through their next rounds.

Expected and understandable in the light of the level of competition and the distances traveled to compete.

Oh and don't forget us Judges. We are always knocking about in the evenings always happy to discuss the hobby and event.

I am also going 3d masters i have been 3 years on the go so far and have now been flying for 9 weeks due to the inspirtion of the fying at the 3dmasters. It has als pushed me alot more further to do more things the helicopter than i ever thought i would do.

3D Masters Site to feature in Reflex XTR
Reflex XTR is to include the 3D Masters Site. The 'raw' site was shot recently and will be available FREE as a beta to anyone bringing along their dongle to 3D Masters (normal price £10). The 3D Masters Site will then be re-shot at the actual 2005 event to capture the full atmosphere and excitment which is 3D Masters.
Century UK will be bringing along Beta copies of the site, but supplies will be limited, so please contact us to tell us you would like one

As I understand it if you turn up at 3dm with your dongle you can get a copy but if you go to the 3dm web site and register your interest just to be sure.

Someone should suggest they take a laptop to the event with them, so that people can bring their reflex dongle and a USB pen drive to take the scenery home on... save on CDs
