I'm sure Hubdave will be able to compete in price no porblem. The bad thing about Alum. is that it will bend and can be heavier. Either way its pretty cool that we now have complete frames to choose from.

I thought I would tinker this week with a little carbon just to experiment see what I could come up with I have no special tool no cnc machines just a file and a dremel and a fine saw what do you think

I will try and get some more pics posted soon i used the original bearing blocks and the motor mount and tail assembly with some 2mm studding as i could not get hold of some 2mm bolts long enough to do the job
I am useing 2.5mm carbon as i have some spare but it was hard work cutting this with the tools i had at hand never mind its done now not without a few mistakes on the way but this is only a trial the next one i will take more time and use thinner carbon
I think by the time i finish this project the carbon zoom se version will be around

steph - What is the thickness of the CF you used? It seems like soo thick? weight?
Try and read these posts not just look at the pretty pics
how much does it weigh compared to the stock
The weight i have not checked that as yet i dont even know the weight of the stock frame
