Today was the first time that I did 3D with my newly installed GV-1. When I gave it full collective it made a weird spudder sound. Wondering what this could be? Is my neddle valve set to rich on the high end?

What motor do you have and which carb? It could be a whole host of things ranging from a prolonged idle period, poor mid-range mix, rich top end, or maybe even the simplest of things...a bad plug.

Im using the OS 70 with the carb that it came with. The carb has a high range needle, mid needle and idle adjustment screw. The longest I usually let it idle is about20-30 sec. at the most.

...do you think that its just too much strain on the engine.
