aaaaaaLOL I did a stupid stupid thing !!,,, I did I did,,, welllll I had a slight problem with my gasser's carb on my plane, the carb was not pulling fuel, usually it took 50 to 60 flips to start it, well I guess I fixed it, LOL guess is the key word here LOL, I had the fuselage strapped to it's stand, I fliped the prop only 4 times and it popped to life, the whole plane and stand jumped off the table right at me, the only thing I could do was put my hand up or the prop would have hit me in the lower stomach,,, well I got 6 stitches in the tip of my finger along with cracking the tip of my finger,,,

anyway, I had the Tx idle trim at idle, but I guess because I fixing the carb's problem the motor revved a lot higher, I was NOT expecting that

""" man ol man I will never do that again"""

Oh, ouch,,, ouch,,, I think the Anastasia is wearing off !!!

Dang planks can be dangerous! That'll teach you to keep it to heli's!

Sorry - Hope everything heals quickly.

Jim, Jim...you got six stitches on your finger and you're STILL typing!? Now THAT is dedication! Haha, glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it could have been....last time i got hit with a prop i probably shoulda had stitches, but it wasn't that bad....40 sized plane, but hey...i took the sign and switched to helis , like everyone else here says. Haha, talk to you later man.

Friends dont let friends stand infront of a gasser flip starting a 20inch prop.

Goodness son, the first thing I learned when flying planks is : Never ever stand directly infront or directly to the side of the props plane. The correct way would be infront and to the side body out of the way. Or behind and to the side body out of the way.

If you have to chop your fingers up to save your tummy, you my friend are doing it wrong.

Btw chicken stick or heavy leather glove is a good tool to use.

Class dismissed
